Inkblots to be published May 13

Designed by Michael Song ('11), the cover and back page of Inkblots will feature student artwork and literary works.
The literary magazine Inkblots has the theme “Light and Dark” and intends to be distributed before Tussock Moth Day.
“In past years, we sent our magazines to judges [and] they have noticed that we haven’t stuck to a theme, so this year that was one of our goals,” editor-in-chief Mishkin said.
The magazine will feature artwork, poetry, short stories, and one short play, the play being a new kind of submission that the publication has not received in the past years.
Working with Mishkin is graphics and art editor Munyo Frey-Edwards (’11), layout editor Stephanie Friend (’11), submissions editor Skye Lewis (’12), and copy editor is Kate Pan (’11).
“I think it’s cool to see other people look at the art, and we want to include a diverse number of people in the magazine,” Mishkin said. “I think it’s great to read poetry by people who you wouldn’t expect to write poetry.”
